Owls are supposeeee to represent wisdom but nowadays they're just a trend like mustaches or tribal print, etc.

I think it's been around for quite some time. I went through the "owl" and plenty of other animal phases about 2 years ago.

The owl thing has been around for about two years. I personally am not a fan of it and am ready for it to go away. A lot of people have gotten owl tattoos since they have become popular and I guarantee you most of those people will regret them, and probably within 5yrs at that. Like Stephanie said, it's just like the mustaches being in.
