Honestly, I wouldnt take a risk asking us on hear. I agree everyone knows a lot on this app, but I don't think any of us are qualified to diagnose you and if you are misdiagnosed you can make things worse. Please see a doctor.

@phoebe, I NEVER thought of that! @Alex, I've been allergic to mosquitos my entire life and this looks nothing like my usual allergic reaction. it isn't bed bugs, and chiggers doesn't look like this, neither does chicken pox, and heat rash doesn't last this long, and it started when I woke up yesterday and isn't better or worse today so I don't believe its bugs. as a med student, I've not encountered something like this yet, and I know you ladies have had experiences that's why I asked. thank you all! I am hoping its not impetego, we're still trying to figure out if I ate something new or anything like that. I will be going to the doctor but we just kinda wanted to give it a day to see if it was indeed something like heat rash, but I appreciate all of you you girls are brilliant I love this app and I'm very thankful for you all:) god bless.

Actually chicken pox has a centripetal distribution meaning it starts on your trunk then spreads, also chicken pox is a vesicular rash, like vesicles filled with a serous fluid then it dries up, so what you have doeasn't sound like it
I think you should go see a doctor and I hope you feel better soon :)

It could be heat rash, chicken pox or pityriosis rosacea. none of us can tell since there is no picture. go see a doctor.

Depending on where it is it could be Shingles. But I doubt it if it's in more than one spot on your body and I don't know if you can get Shingles if you've been vaccinated for chicken pox.

You can get shingles even if you've never had chicken pox if you touch an open wound. its not chicken pox, not shingles, not heat rash. heat rash wouldn't last this long. I went to the doctor, they said its an allergic reaction to something. however, because there has been nothing new (soaps, makeup, laundry detergent), it was most likely contracted through public (grocery store) or airborne. thanks girls!

You may have eczema, which can be managed with drugstore creams. My advice would be to see a dermatologist, who can diagnose the issue and tell you how best to manage it. Good luck :)

Honey have you ever thought about going to the doctors to see what type of advice that they can give you? If it is moving up on your body like you are saying, you need to go to the emergency asap. Maybe you are allergic to things. Don't wait go now. good luck k.

So how are you feeling.

Relieved its no more than an allergic reaction. thank you for asking:) I just hope anti-itch medicines will take care of it. but it hasn't spread any more than the spots its already on, but those still itch like crazy. but it could always be worse and I'm very thankful for the simplicity of the situation.

Glad that it is nothing very serious, and that the medicines are helping out. Take care.

Well then you sound like me and probably have contact dermatitis. If I were you I would try to see a dermatologist. For 7 years I would get random insanely red and itchy rashes and still no one can figure out what it's for. My cure? After getting countless steroid creams nothing actually works but applying ice to the rash to take away the redness and itching.
