Yeah basically, because most of the work is done by hand it's more costly to produce overall! It's just really soft, that's all haha.

Cashmere is specifically lightweight :) The texture is just soft mainly!

I love my cashmere. I actually got the majority of them from my grandma. Get thick cashmere for when its really cold and you get to watch people squirm in the wind while you stay nice and toasty. Thinner cashmere is great for layering. I have a few cardigans that I'll wear over other clothes on days when the wind isnt bad. As for the texture, it's so soft you could fall asleep in it.
