Trouble sharpening UD 24/7 concealer pencil

I was washing all my bushes & sanitizing my makeup. Went to sharpen all my eye pencils, lip pencils, etc. But when I went to sharpen my UD 24/7 concealer pencil it started to sharpen but after a little while the razor just glided over the plastic casing. I have the same issue with my NYX jumbo pencils with the plastic casing. I have tried both the Nyx sharpener & the UD one having no luck. Only recently have I encountered this problem, it wasn't an issue before.

I tried placing the pencil in the freezer, filing the plastic to give it some texture, as well as many other things. But I ended up mutating the Nyx pencil & I just decided to depot it. Anyone have this problems or any suggestions of how I can sharpen the pencils without having to depot?

when i tried sharpening my UD I found that the actual product kind of like caved in. I'm not sure how to describe it... I started just doing like once around in my sharpener and using whatever was on top for fear of wasting product :/
it might be one of those things where maybe we should just get the UD sharpener.

You have to get a really sharp sharpener. I had the same problem and I just found another sharpener and kind of pushed the tip up towards the blade more.

Carolyn: I do have the UD sharpener but it still didn't work. I even tried tightening down the blade. :(
