I live in Australia and a lot of our beauty products are ridiculously priced and I was curious how much you pay for the same items in America?
How much do these items cost in America:
• OPI nail polish
• MAC lipsticks
• NYX Jumbo eye pencils
• Urban Decay Naked pallet
• Sinful Colors nail polish
Just to use as some examples :)

OPI is around $8 I think, NYX jumbo pencils are a little under $5 and Sinful colors are really cheap. Like $2-$3. Idk about the others. :)

OPI and Sinful Colors nail polish for me (I live in Wisconsin) usually range from $5-$8 dollars a bottle at my Walmart NYX Jumbo eye pencils I'm not sure but I think around $10? I might be wrong.. I don't have a Mac seller where I live and I haven't seen an Urban Decay pallet around. Sorry.

OPI nail polish: $20.00
MAC lipstick: $36.00
Sinful colors:$6.00
And in order for me to even get a Naked pallet it will cost me minimum of $80.00!!
That's heaps cheaper than I thought!
I can't believe OPI cost is $20 and MAC lipsticks are $36

A good idea is to purchase a po box stateside thru a 3rd party and have them mail your stuff you you after you use a US address...

I also live in Australia and never really checked out the prices in America. We pay heaps for cosmetics here. I want the naked pallets but don't want to spend $80 - $90 haha.

It's so expensive
Being a makeup artist my clients prefer when I use more high end products but in order to do so I have to charge way more than I should
So then a lot of my clients pull out
Or I just have to charge less.

I know the naked palette costs $50 in retail stores but you can purchase it for less on ebay or something sometimes :)

I used to live in Sydney last year...N the whole time I did not get any makeup...Even drugstore items are sooo expensive...The only thing I did get was a Revlon colorstay whipped creme foundation which cost me almost $40...Its simply crazy...The Rimmel n Revlon lipsticks were itself around between $17-$21... The logical reason for such pricing must be the fact that Australia is so far away from the rest of the world so shipping products for companies must be expensive...It sucks :(
