Well to begin with I am 16. I absolutely looove makeup. not as a means to look fake, but I love it as an art.
many people always tell me I look 18-20. my sister and mom bully me about it all the time. not teasing. as in bullying. maybe it because of my height (not very tall but slightly above average for 16), maybe me boobs that are big for my age or maybe makeup.
I always dress my age. I'm not into tight stuff so I opt for floral dresses, jeans etc.
makeup is: eyeliner, mascara powder and foundation. which as I concluded from reading on beautylish, is a lot less than 8th graders wear.
so what's the deal with bullyinge about it? should I wear a sports bra that offers me no support or bandage my boobs flat? should I stop wearing makeup and never pickup a mascara ever again? should I wear disney tshirts? just so I can look the way YOU want me to look?
it makes me so mad when my close ones bully me about it. there's no way I can change it. makeup is my passion and I'm not giving it up based on what you think
sorry that was really long. just wanted to take it off my chest.

Don't change anything about yourself. Go up to the people who are bullying you and stare right into their eyes. Then just shout:"This is who I am and if you don't like it then be quiet because I'm not changing for you or anyone." And then walk away with confidence :) works for me.

I don't see why you'd be bullied for looking older that's just ridic! Most girls try to look older all the time. Your gorgeous don't let it get to you x

I don't think you should change just because they are bullying you. I get told sometimes that I look like I'm 16-17 (usually by drunk people though) but I think about it as a compliment. and you don't wear a lot of makeup so that's not the issue. You said you were tall for your age so maybe that's what makes you look like an 18-20 year old. I would take it as a compliment. Maybe your sister is jealous of you. Don't change just because they bully you think of the things they say to you as compliments... Just don't care about the rude things they say about you find a way to turn them into compliments.

Don't let other ppl bully you and tell you how to dress and how not to dress.. you are young yes, but you are discovering new things about yourself as you get older like: your style of dressing, what kind of makeup you like to wear, etc.. We all grow to be grown ups.we can't be kids forever...just be yourself honey. your gorgeous ;)

That's how I am now, I'm 15 and several people (for reasons beyond me) thought I was around 18-22. A few of my new classmates thought I was a new teacher at the school. Several people(including my mom, grandma and sister) bully me about my chest. My chest is far larger than normal for people my age and they call me slut because of it. Its very hard to hide that aspect of me but they still bully. But it is what is. I think you're stunning and don't care what anyone thinks. You're gorgeous and kind :)

Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. You are absolutely GORGEOUS from your pictures, and anyone who says otherwise has no idea what they are talking about.

Jessica...you are truly a beautiful girl, inside and out...I can say that your maturity also gives you an older appearance (in a good way) look up and hold your head up high. show them that your can be successful even without their support. be your own person and every time you hear nasty words...translate it into "your beautiful" <3.
