Find what suits your body shape.
also keep in mind what colours complement your skin tone. (ie. dark skin suits reds,oranges,yellows. pale skin suits cooler colours like blue or green.)

It depends on the location and time of the event. What is appropriate for a morning wedding on the beach is not appropriate for a black-tie reception at night.
