How to keep Eyeshadow from transferring/smudging.

Hey ladies:
I recently started playing around and experimenting with eyeshadow, something I haven't done since HS! Does anyone know how to keep eyeshadow from transferring to their eyebrow area from their lids? I seem to remember reading something about preventing lipstick smudging around lips... Is there a kind of product that seals the eyeshadow in place? I already use a lid primer. Thanks for any tips!

Eyeshadow primers work amazing! then set with a little bit of translucent powder

I never have that problem maybe it's because I always use a primer.

Thanks ladies! Actually I think I have seen less transferring since I started using a primer.
