Please help! I use a prescription Retin A every night on a clean face. I want to start using a self tanner again and I don't know how long to wait after applying retin a or if it's a good idea to apply afterwards at all??
PS- applying either in morning is a no go.

I would probably give the retin a week long break just because that retin a is constantly turning the skin cells over. But before applying the self tanner I would just use a regular scrub exfoliant. The retin a may turn over certain parts of the facial skin faster than others so some parts of the skin may really take on that pigment in the self Tanner. Just my suggestion. :)

Yes Kathryn is right. Its probably better if you use makeup to camouflage the face and tanner on your body. I tried to use the face tanners when I was in PRA and it just wasnt good. And honestly I felt I just washed money down the sink.

I say use a bronzing powder on your face - not self tanner.
