I'm in desperate need of help with finding my perfect skin makeup. I have some acne, and a pretty uneven skin tone. I'm not sure if I have oily skin or if it is just the makeup I'm using.
I'm currently using a Clinique foundation.
Someone suggested MAC primer for my face. Any suggestions?

To determine your skin type think of how the skin acts wothout makeup and minimal skincare. Does it get oily and shiney? Does it feel tight and dry? If it gets oily or dry is it all over your face or dry on the cheeks and oily in the t-zone. If you skin feels tight its dry, shiny its oily, and combo is combination. If you want a matte finish seek out powder foundations for oily skin or powder finish foundations for dry pr combination skin. If you want a dewy finish dry cream ir liquid foundations. Priner can help makeup stay on longer but it can worsen acne so be careful to read reviews on a primer before trying it.

A good trick is to use your favorite moisturizer with a dab of liquid/cream concealer. Your skin will absorb the moisturizer and the concealer will even out your skin.

Don't over treat your skin let it breath don't apply makeup for a while trust me youll skin will slowly start fixing if you don't use makeup.
