Hello, ladies. So, I have super oily skin. Guys at school point out that my foundation looks shiny, which is incredibly embarrassing. Would a facial primer help any? If so, any good brands? (Drug store or high end.) If not, any other solutions? Thank you so much. Just writing this is very embarrassing for me.?

I would recommend NYX matte primer. It's 10 bucks. You could also try a matte foundation as well, maybe powder and setting spray too? Hope this helps!

Milk of magnesia helps to keep your face shine-free throughout the day. Just make sure it's the unflavoured one. And yes, you should definitely be using a primer. Drugstore: L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur; high-end: Tarte 12-hr Cleanslate Poreless. Any primer with silicone as its base should be good. Also, set your foundation with a powder! Rimmel's Stay Matte powder is pretty good and so is Makeup Forever's HD Microfinish powder (but Coastal Scents has the same product - it's just silica spheres - it's exactly the same but way cheaper and you get a lot more powder).

My face is Really oily! I use marykay bionic effects cleanser it helps a lot. I love their products I actually went to my first meeting tonight and became a consultant :) woot woot! (I'm very proud of it) haha. But it really helps me and I suggest still using a lotion because it can dry out skin. But one that's oil free. :)

I use to have the same problem.. I've found that using hard candys illuminating primer ( $6) & also adding powder over foundation helps.. You could also carry blotting pads & I carry a little powder compact to powder my nose.. Hope this helps :)
