Usually schools have dress codes but nobody ever pays heed to them so I doubt you will be told anything.

Don't, there's no need to wear short-shorts or to blend in. There is normally a dress code for a reason and you should fallow it. You don't need to be the same as everyone else.

I would say try set your own trend with something else nobody gets noticed for copying but setting your own trend is the new hot!!
