In the USA, Boots no.7 is sold at Target and Illamasqua is sold at Sephora. I believe that Sleek is sold in drugstores in the UK, but I can't think of what their names are off the top of my head. I've also heard good things about Bourjois (I think I'm spelling that wrong...).

If you want a better high quality make up I would go for mac, Nars or Laura mercier, howwver they more expensive than the high street brands listed here

MUA for eyeshadow palettes they are so good. Sleek for blush collection 2000 do the best pen liner ever. Boots no7 have a really good highlighter and I love thier lipsticks. Gosh has really good eyeshadows lipsticks and brushes.
