Ok first off I want to talk about self tanners us girls are used to...shower,shave,exfoliate,use self tanner praying it doesn't streak or turn your hands and body umpa loompa orange then your stuck with this sticky stinky gunk on your body for 6-8 hours before you can shower. watching your knees elbows feet and hands..
now lets talk about josie maran 2-1 body wash and self tanner. I got it from qvc.com after tax and shipping itwas $44 and change. it comes with a suprisingly large bottle of body wash that smells like chocolate ( I'm not that likes chocolate scented but smells really good) it comes with a black back washer with long handle and a body wash poof on the end and a pair of black gloves. first off you shower as normal you don't have to exfoliate, make sure you get all shampoo out of your hair before you use body wash it will streak your tan. second wet your shower poof and your body turn OFF water use one squirt for each body part don't use your hand to massage body wash in poof ( I made this mistake,my hands turned black) start with whatever body part you want to use circular motion and make sure you don't miss any spots. body wash is black so you can tell where you are putting it. you can use on your face if you want to. but put vaseline on your lips and eyebrows so they don't stain. after your done with body take off gloves and use excess to do your hands. it says to leave on for 30 seconds but I'm not that fast to shower so left it on 3-4 minutes ( still looks good) and then make sure you wash it all off. I used my hands and wiped my body down. pat dry with fluffy towel if you rub your wet skin you will wipe off your tan...
I am very pale and most self tanners don't look very good. let me tell you josie maran got it right with this stuff. I have a beautiful golden tan and it will get darker as the day goes on. your not sticky and don't smell like fake tan. don't know how she did it but my hands knees elbows feet totally blend with rest of my body not the least bit darker.it has argan oil in it so it also moisterizes your skin. you can use it daily when you shower until you get the color you want. says 1 bottle will last up to 4 months.if there is something I didnt go over and you have any questions just ask ( sorry if I rambled on, I'm really excited about this)

By the way if it gets on palms of hands wash your hands with a whitening toothpaste and should come off.

Hi Ann I was wondering if you were going to post about it. I remember when you got it. I'm so glad it works well for you. I am very pale as well the only tanner I have found that works well for me is St. Tropez One Night Only. Not even the tanning mousse works for me even though everyone raves about it.

p.s the gloves that are included can be used alone to apply tanner instead of poofy I guessto make a darker application. I amgonnatry this n the morning if anyone wants to know how it turned out let me know. and I will do a final review after about a week of applications with a pic. if anyone wants to try this don't be frightened it is well worth it this is the first product I wasnt scared to use. good luck!!
