Hello girls! I need H-E-L-P! What are your essentials for long flights? I'm going to be on the plane for 8 hours flying from central Europe to USA, New York (first time in USA, YAY!). What would you take on the board with you?

Keep it simple. I always think I will be so productive on my long flights (back and forth between USA and Sweden) but I never am. All I ever truly need with me is my phone, mp3 player, headphones, my money, passport, and tickets of course, a small carry on pillow, always wear socks, long pants and a hoodie. Its almost always cold on airplanes. Chapstick. Hand lotion and hand sanitizer. Essential makeup for touch ups. A book or my eReader.

Also deodorant and maybe a travel size body spray and of course any medications you need and all of your chargers and jewelry. Anything really valuable needs to stay in your carry on. Good luck and have fun!!

Gum and hard candies are good too. Also a change of clothes in case your luggage is lost.

Makeup/cleansing wipes, moisturizer, lip balm, contacts, bb cream, mascara. I put on a light face about 30 min before I alight. Also don't forget a neck pillow if you plan on napping.

I take my iPod and headphones to listen to music, a good book and a hoodie in case it gets cold because it usually does on the plane. I always take boiled sweets to suck on as it helps with popped ears. Enjoy and have fun!
