So I have fine wavy layered hair and I don't really need to do anything to it and I rarely use any heat on it but I just wish I had a bit more volume at the roots since all the body is at the bottom from the waviness. Any suggestions would be awesome :]

Try hair spray at your roots and a comb to gently tease it

I had lots of volume from using a dry shampoo spray. Spray at the roots. Comb the white powdery essence all throughout your hair to absorb any oils and go :)
ALSO, I had a volumizing powder that I got a good lift from. The only thing I didnt like is the way it felt in my hair.

Well I have to wash my hair everyday cause since its fine it gets oily faster @Laurie.
I will definitely try the options you guys gave me, I suck at anything that has to do with hair I don't know I just think there's to many strains on a head lol so the simpler the better :] graciass

Dry shampoo is seriously the best option. I have super thick straight hair and the only wah for me to get volume at mg roots is dry shampoo. it doesn't take a lot when your hair is clean. it also gives the roots some grit and makes a small amount of teasing go a long way.

I use dry shampoo. Try LUSH's or Batiste's.

You could try putting your hair in big Velcro rollers while its still warm from blow drying. Let it cool/set while doing your makeup or whatever, lightly spray with hair spray and voila! I usually just do the top/crown area if I'm in a hurry or lazy.
