I want to do ombré nails. Do you guys have any recommendations for a good color scheme? Preferably 3 colors.
Also is there anything you can use besides a makeup sponge?
Thanks in advance! Xo

A kitchen sponge?
I think white, purple and lilac is cute. Or blues. You can do any color you like!

Pick your own colors! Use acrylic paint then top coat so you can just pick one color (ie: red) then add a drop or 2 of white to make dark pink and then more white to make lighter pink. I guess you could do the same with nail polish but acrylic cleans up soo easy if you don't feel like wrapping your finger tips in tape/Vaseline.

I thinks just using a makeup sponge is the best way. There really inexpensive and there a lot easier

Instead of a makeup sponge, you could use a sponge tipped applicator that you don't use! Btw, Acrylic paint comes off with alcohol.

It may take practice, but this method is really good.
Use 2-3 shades of nail polish to draw lines on a damp sponge. Let it dry a bit before applying it to your nail. It's a bit messy but easily cleaned up with nail polish remover and qtips. Finally apply a top coat et voilà :)
