The last incident was in April and it is something to worry about as people have been having allergic reactions. So no, she didn't ask for a review but it is a little important to know.
But if you're looking for reds that are moisturizing MAC Everyday Diva is a good bright red, Lush Life is a good plum red, and Too Faced Stiletto Red is a nice deep hollywood red this super moisturizing.

I like them both! (Could care less about the scandal.) The don't fade, and they look dry on my lips, since it's matte. A few touch ups after eating, but nothing major. I do notice that if you use a sugar scrub, and balm the night before, it helps them look smoother! If you need swatches of them both I will gladly help! :)

I love the red velvet-I use my mac primer under and haven't found it any more drying than other matte lip colors. I'm actually debating on getting their candy apple lip gloss
