Yea it definitely helps with my breakouts. I've used bar soap before but usually it leaves a film but my African black soap doesn't, makes my face feel squeaky clean :)

I absolutely love it! I kicked my expensive high-end cleansers to the curb. I use it to shave my legs and it has facilitated in fading a few faint spots on my legs as I use it as a cleanser on my loofah (took 6 months to see that result but worth the wait). As far as a facial cleanser it definitely keeps my skin balanced and pores clean. I usually just lather it up on face in shower and let it sit for a few moments before rinsing off. Best all-purpose cleanser in my book.

I get mine from coastal scent, I turn it into a liquid and add peppermint oil and use it as a body wash and also for my hair. For my kids I add lavender oil it helps with my oldest eczema.

I use mine in the AM & PM. I use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup first so the soap can really take care of my pores.

I use it every other day to exfoliate. I've rem using it for almost a month and my skin has improved dramatically. I massage it into my face for around a minute then rinse and moisturize.

Hey Amanda my family is from Nigeria so we buy it whenever we go. However I do know that Lush sells it but honestly I feel like the one from Africa are truly the best because there is a days long process that goes into making black soap and there's so many natural ingredients that go into it.

@aleighnna g. I boil distilled water or spring water about 2 cups, and with a 3 by 3 inch of African soap. I first grate the soap, then add the grate soap to the hot water and stir it for a few mins, cover it then leave it until water cools. You can add lavender or peppermint if you like.
