No! keep it my darling :) its the icing on top of a gorgeous pout-cake :) my teeth are all sorts of crooked and I would never change a thing! lots of people have cosmetically perfect teeth, but there's a reason supermodels have gaps and crookedness: its stunning! in a room full of straight, identical smiles, one mouth with something a little "off" or different stands out! keep it and rock it girlfriend!!

If it makes you uncomfortable then go thru the process to close it. If you're doing it to follow society norms (which are complete rubbish in my opinion) then I advise against it. My personal take on the subject is that I have a gap (wider than yours) and I love it. My friends, my spouse all love it. I've even had complete strangers tell me I have a beautiful smile. When I was much younger I was very insecure about it. But once I left me teens and headed into my 20's I fell in love it. It adds character to my face and the fact that people important to me loved seeing my gappy smile I embraced it myself.

Well hw old are you?if your a young person like teenager thn possibility is maybe it might close if your wisdom teeth come out if nt its ok I've seen worse!my brother has his bigger than urs n Bobbi Christina is really wide!!at least you have teeth some ppl have to have bridges which cost thousands of dollars cuz of missing adult teeth like my family members.So b happy for wht you do have

Shelley- I've been considering it because of what other people think of it, I personally like it but when people say "you'd look so much better without the gap" it makes me wonder if I would be, if that makes sense? I'm only 16 so maybe when I'm older ill love mine too, I hope so! Thanks :)

There's a few things to consider. First, you probably aren't a model so having some kinda of "icon" isn't necessary. Second, having crooked or gapped teeth is proven to increase your chances of getting a condition or disease of the mouth. Third, if you want to change it, do it now because it will be harder to make the change once you are older. Plus your parents will probably pay for it you do it now. Lol.

I used to have a gap between my front teeth when I was little, way before I got braces. You probably don't need to get it fixed at an orthodontist. All I did was take a piece of floss, wind it around the back of my two front teeth, and pull them together. I did it everyday and after only a couple days, the gap was pretty much closed.

I used to have a gap and then I had to get braces (for other reasons, I loved my gap) and after the braces were taken off, even with my retainer, my two front teeth kept moving and they now over lap a little bit :/ I think it looks goofy and I miss my little gap. Just goes to show that once you start moving teeth they don't always stop where you want them too

Of course its up Rebecca A. There are people out there that LOVE a gap. It is considered a beauty mark in most cases. To me your "gap" doesn't even qualify. its tiny!

It depends on your age, the dentist told me that at a younger age a tooth gap is really.good.but after a.while if it won't close.then you should get it done =)
