Earlier this week I used Neutrogena Oil Free Acne was and my face broke out in hives and now, it's so dry and tight. I am so scared to use anything on my skin, what is a good sensitive skin moisturizer to use to get my skin back to normal.

Roziana: No, my face normal-save for my T zone. I don't normally get dry patches or anything like that. I feel like this was just a fluke. ;/

Aww okay! I only asked because the exact same thing happened to me last week. I had a reaction to something and red patches on my face. Then after the itchiness went it turnt really really dry and tight and started peeling. I used e45 because I was scared to used anything else but my cheeks were really sensitive and it stung so bad! No idea what it was, It was so strange. It went after a couple of days but I used bio-derma moisturiser which is amazing. I was in Barcelona at the time so was able to buy it. Not sure if they have it in the UK yet? Simple Derma sounds good, basically something really organic with no perfumes etc. I'm sure your face will recover very soon :) x

Ahhh, I live in the US so everything is kinda limited. :/ I'm going to try Cetaphil, which has worked in the past, but it is pricey. :(

I was going to try cetaphil but like you mentioned it is pricey so instead I opted for the target brand up and up version and has worked very well for me and I have dry skin as well :) it's like $2-3 cheaper than the actual cetaphil but it has the exact same ingredients :)

You can also try unrefined coconut oil. It's great as a moisturizer! It's also unlikely to interfere with your skin because it's all natural ingredients! (Just make sure it's unrefined, and check the ingredients on the back to make sure everything is natural and organic).

I don't know if I'm the only 1 but cetaphil has bothered my sensitive skin in the past..I use olay complete sensitive skin 30 SPF. for my cleanser I use cerave hydrating cleanser. Cleansers that contain anything blemish fighting tend to irritate my skin.

A few splashes of cool chamomile tea calms the skin.
