I am just getting new to this whole contouring and highlighting thing. I have oily skin so shimmer highlighters kinda freak me out, and I can't find a reasonable prices matte contouring powder. Any favorites of either?? Thanks! Oh ya my skin if fair/light with yellow undertones.

NYX contouring kit might do the trick or MACs blush in blunt as for highlighting a consealer or foundation 2 shades lighter will be great with highlighting and you can set that with Ben Nye's mic powders or any loose powder.

You should try getting a powder foundation that's a couple of shades darker than your skin for a contour powder. Powder foundations are pretty matte and you can find a really wide range of them at the drugstore. You can do this for a matte highlighter as well, just go a few shades lighter. I use matte light eyeshadows in a pinch for highlighting-- Urban Decay's Foxy might be a good one for you since it's yellowy. $18 is a bit steep for something so small that you'll be using over a relatively large area, but check it out and see if it is a shade that works, and then look online for dupes.
