Anything darker than your eyes will make them seem a little lighter in contrast. Try some black eyeliner or a smokey eye look.

I have really dark brown eyes...I don't try to make them lighter I just make them bold and pop...brown eyes are very versatile..neutrals do look great...however don't be afraid to throw in some color too :)
only way to know is to experiment...check out my page for some ideas...here are some of the looks I do...hope this helps :) good luck hun
