Retinol, I got some at sephora that one of the girls there recommended. Helps lighten and even out skin tone, smooth texture etc. just be sure to wear SPF!

Use chemical exfoliants such as glycolic acid (what I use), retinols or retin-a (only a dermatologist can prescribe you retin-a). Chemical exfoliants do what scrubs do, but better. You can find these in creams, serums, and even some toners. Some masks have glycolic acid in them, too. To prevent more acne scaring wear an SPF of AT LEAST 30 if going outside, and since chemical exfoliants make your skin more sensitive, SPF is a must. Hope this helps! (:
