It's pitch black I don't know how to add any other color to it.

I love black hair and pale skin, it makes you look like Snow White :) But If the black hair bothers you and you're not comfortable with it get a tan :)

You look good with it.it just seems unnatural looking on me.

You look stunning with your haircolour. But if you're uncomfortable, try dark brown.

Sarah and Regina, you realize that isn't a picture of Emma (the one that made the post) it is Chy (a commenter on the post).
Emma, I completely get what you mean. Some really pale girls are able to pull the jet black hair off and look great, but there are some like me (and you claim yourself), that it just doesn't work well. Black is the one color I feel I can't pull off, which makes me sad. I want to be able to have that Snow White or Dita Von Teese look with it, but instead I get the Lydia (Beetlejuice) gothic look which I'm not a fan of.

I was referring to Emma D.'s profile picture (the one in the red tshirt). Did I make a mistake somehow?

I think it looks gorgeous on you!! If it bugs you you could tan or do your hair lighter. I think it is really cute tho!

Oh, the way you worded it made it sound like you were meaning how it currently is, which is black. It is a dark brown in that picture, or at least that is how it is showing up on my computer.

It actually looks natural on you don't tan enough orange girls out here.

No harm done! Checked again and it does seem lighter than I originally thought. No matter, I am sure it looks good black. Her skin is beautiful. :)

Kat Von D and plenty of ladies rock pale skin and dark hair. There's some fan make up out there that would help to rock the look...if you care to do so.
