What I do is braid my hair before I go to bed, several little braids if you want a lot of them, then in the morning you unbraid them and they are curly.

If you youtube headband curls they work really well! Also if you split your hair into a few sections ( about 5 or 6 if you want tight curls but less if you want looser ones) and twist them going away from your face, then put them in buns, your hair will curl.

When you do that make sure to use hair pins not bands bc it will dent your hair and it looks better with pins.

I also like to braid my hair in separate sections and then pin it up on my head so the braids don't get messed up when I sleep. Hope this helps!

A trick that works for me ( I had naturally curly hair before I chopped it) is the "sock bun". Take a sock and cut off the toe, roll it into a bun! Gather your hair into a high ponytail and tuck the hair into the sock bun so that your hair forms a neat bun on the top of your hair. It takes practice but once you sleep on it you'll have beautiful curls in the morning :)

Have a shower and braid your hair quite damp.
