I know acne is caused by many different factors such as hormones, genes, medications, etc. But other times it is caused by stress, environment, diet, products, etc. and sometimes there's things we can do to get rid of it.
That said - I'm wondering what is it that you did, such as change your habits, changed your diet, used a certain product (s), etc. that helped you get clear (er) skin??

Maybe something you did will help out someone else and that would just be awesome! Cause I know how bad acne sucks, and it makes you feel like this... :D

Drinking more water and adding organic apple cider vinegar as a toner at night only to my facial cleansing routine. Hope this helps.

Switching up my diet. Cancelling out the white stuff (such as sugar and dairy). I rely heavily on veggies and fruit. I drink a lot of hot green tea and water. I also do a cranberry juice shot (concentrate from health food store). Along with that I follow a strict skincare program and I treat according to how my combo/oily skin is reacting. Its not uncommon to see me sport two different mask formulas on my face at one time...maybe one to address one section of oily skin and another for the dry. Now the only acne I may see is during my menstrual cycle and maybe three zits will make their debut but it is nothing like what I experienced before my diet/skincars transformation.

I went vegetarian after my gall bladder failed and had to be removed. Now I don't use any products made specifically for acne: I just really pay attention to how my skin behaves and address concerns day by day. To be clear, I had terrible acne before I changed my diet and I'm still dealing with the scarring.

Drinking water all the time, cutting out dairy, handling stress well, eating as healthy as possible, not washing my face (weird I know but it irritates my skin), leaving pimples alone when I get them, drinking lemon in my water, and spot treating with clindamycin phosphate 💗

I'm using retin-a gel for some hormonal chin blemishes (and to blast fine lines!) and I love paula's choice 2% beta hydroxy liquid. drinking lots of water, eating a healthy diet, and taking vitamins helps too, as do things like keeping my makeup brushes and tools clean and regularly wiping down my phone screen!

I stopped picking on my face, started using a clarisonic, stopped using too many harsh products to combat breakouts, reduced dairy consumption, always wash my face before going to bed, use a retin a type product and apply a beta and alpha hydroxy acid based serum to my skun every night.

I cut out junk food, exercised more, drink more water and made sure that all my brushes are clean after every use. I also cut down the amount of products/skin care that I use on my skin - this helped a lot. Avoiding stress and finding ways to relax myself has helped calm down outbursts. My skin is much better now. The only acne product that worked for me so far without irritating my skin is Mario Badescu Anti Acne Serum alongside the Drying Cream for spots.
