Hello again lovelies!!
June is here, and do you know what that means? It's time for May Favorites!! (I can't believe I just said that. That is so cheesy.*facepalm*) If you can out my awkwardness aside I would be overjoyed to tell you about all of the beauty products that I have been absolutely obsessed with over the last month.
The first product I have been loving is Revlon Nearly Naked pressed powder in shade 020 Light. I decided to try this powder on a whim. I was in CVS buying nail polish and I remembered that I needed to buy a new powder. I was going to just repurchase the Maybelline Dream Matte powder in a shade darker because summer was comming (I love that powder and I totally think you should check it out), but then I said to myself "Girl, you need to try something new. You need to SEE THE LIGHT because maybe there is another great powder in this here CVS." (I'm pretty sure the lady on the aisle with me thought I was super crazy). So, I picked up this powder and I am in love with it. If you know me you know that I have super duper (yup I'm bringing back kindergarten phrases) oily skin. This stuff helps me to stay matte most of the day. The powder is velvety soft, doesn't break me out, has nice coverage, doesn't feel heavy or cakey, and looks super natural on the skin.
The next product that I have been loving is the Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB cream in color 812 light. I actually did not purchase this. I was given this by a friend who said it was too dark for her. I was pleasantly suprised with this. It is one of those 'skin tone adjusting' products that comes out all white and then slowly turns into a skin color. I usually don't like those kinds of products because you can't see the color in the store, and you typically get a grayish tone on you face after applying them. This however did not do that. After I applied it, it dried to an almost matte finish (not satin or too dewy, but not like super matte, very fresh faced, mostly matte). I really like that because again I have oily skin and I reeeeeeeeally don't like looking shiny. This stuff has great staying power, and it blends into, and sits on the skin nicely. Overall it's a really great product that isn't super expensive. Oh, and it doesn't say it has any SPF in it so I'm assuming it doesn't. That could be a drawback if you wanted it, or a plus if you were going to be in a lot of pictures with flash.
The third product I am beyond excited to tell you about is Almay Wake Up Undereye Concealer in shade 020 light/medium. This was given to me by the same friend who gave me the BB cream for the same reason. I really like this concealer. It is hydrating, but hooray for me isn't overly dewy. It has fantastic coverage. No, like really it does; I have terrible dark circles and it totally takes care of those bad boys for me. It doesn't settle into lines, and it blends really well. It also has wonderful staying power. I mean what more could you ask for in a concealer.
Next in the line up is Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess soft matte bronzer. I cannot even describe to you how mush I am utterly obsessed with this. I have had this stuff for like forever and I haven't even hit pan. This is a super pigmented bronzer so you do need to be careful with it, but if you get it right it looks out of this world. In the packaging it looks SUPER glittery, but DO NOT BE AFRAID next to none of the glitter shows up on the skin. This powder is like butter (but it's a powder sooooooo yeah). Its blending ability is like no other. Seriously though, I know this stuff is expensive, but think about how long it will last you and how superdedupper (I am so weird) it is and it justifies itself.
The fifth goody I have to share with you is also from Estee Lauder (I kinda really like Estee Lauder if you couldn't tell). It is the Signature Silky Eyeshadow Duo in 02 Cappuchino. As the name suggests they are super silky. The darker shade has a satiny frosty finish. It's a chocolatey brown color with outrageous pigmentation. It also has super blending powers. The lighter shade is a matte creamy shade. It isn't as pigmented as the darker shade but it still is gorgeous. What I have been doing with this duo is this. I put the lighter shade all over the lid and up into tthe crease, and then I blend some of the darker shade into the crease and blend up a bit. I then highlight my browbone with the lighter shade and bring that down to meet where I blended the darker shade up. It's super natural and I have been LOVING IT.
Sumita color contrat eyeliner pencil in black is up next. I received this in my birchbox and I honestly don't know where this has been all my makeup wearing life. It is super creamy, but not smudgy AT ALL LIKE SERIOUSLY NO SMUDGING (I'm sorry I shouted, but I felt it was necessary). It stays on the waterline all day, and it stays on your lashine as well. I don't know what to say about this other than imagine everyone of your pencil eyeliner dreams coming true in one pencil.
Second to last is Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 020 Lovesick. It is a bright pink. It is super balmy and over the top pigmented. It stays on all day becasue it is a balm. It kind of is one of those things you have to see to explain.
Last I have OPI Bright Lights Big Color. In the bottle this looks very orangey pink, but on the nails it is a pinky orange. it has golden shimmer in it and makes your hands look soooooooooo tan. I love this color. The formulation is great, and two coats was opaque. The lasting power was the same as all OPI polishes. I couldn't be happier with this.
As always if you want to see pictures or swatches let me know. If you have read all of this give yourself a pat on the back and tell me you made it to the end. Tell me what your favorites are. And give me any feedback you have

The Revlon stain looks gorgeous. And I agree with everything you said for the Revlon Powder. It's by far the best drugstore powder I've ever tried!

Katy the stain is really great on shopping days when you don't want to worry about getting makeup on the clothes you are trying on. That stuff won't go anywhere.
