Ok I have been researching electrolysis and laser hair removal, and would like some feed back and or maybe results from you lovely people of Beautylish. I am only wanting it done on my face. I have pale skin and dark hair. I am so frustrated!!

Electrolysis is your best bet. It's permanent, take a bit of patience, and minimum pain (there are numbing gels so you won't feel anything). With laser, you have to use the right machine, make sure you're going to a legit place, and it's not permanent it only minimizes hair up to 80%.

I got laser done first but wanted all the hair removed on my face so opted for electrolysis! It's great being hair free. :)

Laser is the best way to go. The results work the best for dark hair. Make an appointment and see what they have to say. Laser will not work for blonde or gray hair so get it done before you get older.

Thank you for the input, I am definitely leaning toward the electrolysis. I just couldn't believe my eyes when I researched it on the internet, and was informed it took 15-30 treatments? WTF?

It can take more treatments than that. I have a lot of clients who have spent thousands on electrolysis and then have it not take. My opinion is that if you have the money to try it then go for it, but don't use your life saving on it. I suffer from the same kind of fair skin/dark hair battle.

The only thing I know is a coworker of mine tried laser hair removal and said it was horrible! She said it hurt very badly! Now if that was a fluke or not, I have no clue! But if you go for it keep us posted; I'd love to hear the results.

I had laser done, and it's ridiculously painful! I've also had electrolysis done, it's not painful. It's like a pin prick. Treatments very depending on how much hair you have. For example, I had crazy bushy eyebrows and it took 3 months (I went every two weeks) and I was done. Seems like a long time, but it goes by quickly!
