I can't bring myself to spend 30.00 dollars on a mascara that really essentially does the exact same thing as a 5.00 tube. I don't know, I might just be watching to many Wayne Goss tutorials...but that man knows his sh@t and has really gotten me thinking about what you need, and what you want out of your makeup...and not to get fooled into buying gimmicks. :-)

Ok I JUST snagged benefit they're real mascara- I have YSL shocking, lancome hypnose drama and a MAC mascara; so far my benefit is my favorite!

I have to say, in defense of big $$$ mascara, I find Dior Show is hands down the best mascara I've ever used. So maybe on a case by case basis spendy stuff can be worth it?

I think so @bree. plus we're all different and are looking for various effects, so sometimes spendy stuff works best to do what we want and sometimes cheaper stuff works as well or better!
