What is the difference between refined and unrefined coconut oil?? thanks: )

You definitely want unrefined. Although its more expensive, unrefined is cold-pressed and isn't processed like refined is. Refined coconut oil is bleached to kill bacteria. Definitely get organic cold pressed if you want to cook with it or use it for the beauty benefits.

The ones we sell are either "virgin" or "refined"... The virgin is cold press and raw, whereas the refined is a press of the coconut chips and is not considered raw. The word refined does usually indicate that the food or item has been process and would most like not be raw.
