So I've been looking into different cosmetology schools and think I've figured out which one to go to. I've checked out regency, Paul Mitchell, and a couple smaller ones in my area, but I have my heart set on aveda. It's seems to fit my personality the best. Also, everyone seemed so professional and soo nice! Does anyone have any experience with aveda or advice before I take the plunge into signing up for the class??

I went to the aveda institute in minneapolis for cosmo and I loved it! they really teach you everything you need to know! they give you lots of opportunities with student competitions and shows and have a career coach that will help you! A lot of clients that go there have said they have been to other schools and the level of professionalism that the aveda students have is amazing! You will be more likely to find a job afterwards with an aveda education! They also have amazing products and totally customizabl color line! I say go for it girl, just make sure you keep everything organized and pay attention! Your teachers are there to help and it may be a little overwhelming when you first learn new things, but it gets easier! And every day is also something new! Best of luck hun and welcome to an amazing industry! Let me know if you have any specific questions!

I was recently trying to figure out where to go for school as well. I chose to go with aveda pretty much for the same reasons you mentioned. I also visited Paul Mitchel but something about it just didn't feel right for me. I am really excited to begin training at aveda and I wish you luck.
