Hi I need some help. Tips or stratigies. Summer is here and I aM over weight. I have been trying to lose weight for a while but honestly have no idea what I am doing. I love swimming and do it a lot during summer but I don't even where most cute clothes so feel super insecure in bathing suits I always wear big t shirts to cover my stomach. I know my weight shouldn't stop me from doing what I want and making me insecure but it does. Please help!:( oh and I am only 13.

I walk for an hour or two every night, depending on what I ate that day, and do 100 sit ups. I also watch my calories. In a couple months, I lost 10-15 pounds!

Drink water, only water. Also green tea helps for weight loss. And 15-20 minutes for exercising almost everyday.

I'm not a person who necessarily loves exercising. I've found activities such as hoola hooping, jump roping, and just playing outside with my friends fun for me! I mainly focused on my food intake. I stopped snacking Usually, I had the Special K cereal in the mornings(I'd just fill a bowl up) and then I would eat a light lunch like salad(with any dressing!) or cucumbers with lemon and salt or even both. For dinner I'd indulge a bit more and have grilled chicken or fish or even soup! (: I just drank water the entire time and even that I had trouble but I put lemon in my water which made it bearable. (: I allowed me to cheat on certain days by eating a dessert or having a soda. Also, I motivated myself by promising that everytime I reached a goal of so many pounds I'd treat myself to buying something I've wanted! Good luck and say motivated! (:

Ppl who are insecure with weight feel the need to just cover up and "hide" it but its actually better to wear clothed tht flatter the tummy area then! With belts and stuff look up on google figure flattering tops so you can look great on the journey to losing weight!

Don't starve yourself pull into end up making your metabolism slower which is worse... Drink 8 cups of water a day(think that's what they say) or more, no fast food try balancing out your vitamins, mineral, etc. have salad with (raw) broccoli ( noooo heavy dressing) only a little salt vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar) and olive oil then I add salmon to my meal and I'm usually okay with that for lunch.. For breakfast eat a bowl of oatmeal (I personally like it) cereal is very unhealthy I'd stay away from them stick to Cheerios is you'd like also stay away from any sugar as much as you can I know it's impossible as a woman but stay strong!! For dinner I would eat beans salad chicken, or bean salad and fish, or potatoes, chicken and salad.. You can have a normal full meal as long as its healthy oh yeah and for the morning try eating egg(cage free!!organic) also try eating the least 3 hours before you go to sleep... Do some exercise on top of that of course... Walk, walk, walk, jog, run, sit ups , jump rope do them all!! You have to start out by making a schedule that's helps a lot!! Like these days ill do this and eat this.. It won't always go as planned but at least you have a plan written out.. Warning.. This take 100% commitment once you start stay strong and keep it going!! Want to lose weight? There are no fast and easy ways.. Changing your diet is difficult you have to start slowly you will fell a whole much better inside and out.. I bet you you would loose a lot before the summer if you follow the rules my father followed this and lost 10-12 pounds in a month..:0. My mom is on this diet but for her own reasons (health) and I believe it will help many more. Ps: no pasta, spaghetti, white bread, tortolini, ravioli, etc. most UNHEALTHY thing you can eat. The end.:p hope this helps!!:D.
