A lot of Chapsticks/lip smoothers have addictive properties in them, which makes them feel like they smooth out your lips, but over time they dry them out so you need more and more. Hence the "addictive" property. Carmex is a major culprit, and I don't really like Vaseline. Any suggestions?

Nivea! Everyone that I have tried I absolutely love. I recommend A Kiss of Moisture, Smoothness, and Milk and Honey! Hope this helps!

Try Lansinoh. It's a nipple cream, and I know this sounds crazy, but it works wonders on the lips. My holy grail lip balm :)

Burt's bees, nivea, fruits and passion lip stuff. All these are all-natural.

I've been using smith's rosebug salve in place of Chapstick. It's amazing.

Catrix...its only sold online or at a dermontologist. I've been an agressive lip picker all my life and this saved me!

Okay so everyone has commented, and I want to save you some terrible trouble in the future. I am currently in recovery from my addiction. I suggest vaseline, coconut oil, olive oil. Honest Co. Products, I don't know about Nivea though. I know for a fact that EOS is bad (the cause of my addiction), Blistex is TERRIBLE, Carmex, Burt's Bees believe it or not. Here's a link to find some other brands, and if you have a problem, you can check it out as well for advice on how to get through it because it's VERY hard to get through it and it's a very uncomfortable, painful, ugly process!
