I got my eye brows threaded about a week and a half ago. About 2 days after the threading I had little bumps of ingrown hairs. I still have the bumps and I even tried to pop a couple. Any suggestions on how to make them heal faster or how to prevent more ingrown hairs for next time.

I had a similar problem and not in the face (if you know what I mean). That's the way I react to hair pulling, or waxing. It is possible that your hair is not string enough to "break" the skin, giving ingrowns as a result. Don't try to pop them on dry. That is if you really want them out ( it will eventually happen, but it will take a while) you can use steam? It sounds funny, vapor? Ok not my mother language. And then do it. Don't forget to put disinfectant on the area afterwords and avoid at all cost to have your face under the sun.

Next time tell them to use astringent before they start and after they are done, that shuld help. It will burn a little in the beginning but it shuld help afterwards. Just a suggestion.

I got the same problem, but with my upperlip.
@preeto: what is an astringent and what kind? or is it just alcohol?

I am a cosmetologist and an eyebrow threader- absolutely do NOT use an astringent after! that will hurt and damage your skin! getting ingrown hairs is sometimes unavoidable. but the best way to fight them is to apply warm compresses to your eyes before they begin the threading. this will open your pores more and allow an easier extraction, easier extractions can help lessen the possibility of in grown hairs. also have them use a healing lotion like aloe vera to massage afterwards and that should help the skin heal better.

Sorry I didn't clarify myself... but the best way to reduce ingrown hair is to stick with threading, this will help pull the hair from the roots. It also depends on the threader if they CAN take the hair from the roots, because some people just break the hair and that doesn't help. And if you tend to break out then thats when you astringent it helps your skin from breaking out! and No it does not damage your skin. You can ask your threader. I work at a salon and I use astringent on myself coz I breakout after and it helped me a lot it didn't damage my skin. Besides you get it at a beauty store. And never use a plucker that causes in grown hair.
