Doesn't work don't waste your money. I tried it couple different times and never noticed a difference. Than your forced to get the refill every few months and if you don't cancel it theyll keep sending it to you and charging your card.

No but I've heard it can leave bad red patches and once you use it, the pimples stop. But come back 2x as worse

Yeah the pimples stop but they come back like way worse than they worse than they were before, and also once I used a different face wash about two hours after using proactiv and my face burned really bad and turned all red for the day

I used Proactiv for a couple years with little result. Try Neostrata, and you should totally consider birth control. Cleared me up in less than a month!! :))

I use proactiv and I've been using it for a couple of years. It takes a month or two but your skin does clear up a lot although not as perfect as on the ads. There are negatives though, you have to use it all the time, and it's not the same for all people but if I miss a day or two then my skin breaks out, if you stop using it then it does come back worse and it can be quite expensive. You don't have to have a subscription though, you can buy it in their stores depending where you live. Maybe speak to your doctor first because I know there are many other options, just do your homework on it before rushing put and buying it. That's not to say it doesn't work, just not as well as they make it out to be, anyway good luck 😊

The active ingredient is benzyl peroxide. just go to a chemist and buy a tube of 2 or 2.5% bensyl peroxide its a lot cheaper

Your scarring after acne and the inflammation may be symptoms of a common skin condition called rosacea (don't worry... It's not serious!) also if your face is always red (even if you haven't been in the sun or doing exercise) it could be another symptom of rosacea. Sorry... I have never used proactiv but I've heard it's really good and a lot of people recommend it.

Its terrible, I never broke out until I started using this. Those people are getting paid to say good things about that crap. Do not put it on your face unless you like a face full of zits and blackheads that won't go away.

I used it for like two years and like everyone says, your skin does get worse before it gets better. That being said, it worked wonders for a while and over the last several months, its stopped working and made me break out. I couldn't get them to go away either, it took forever. I wouldn't recommend it honestly. There's a ton of other brands that don't cost as much that work way better.

I used it when I was 13 or whenever it first came out and it was all the rave. After using it for about a year, I found it stopped working for me. I didn't wear make up or anything back then either, so I guess if someone wears make up now it might be nothing special. I have heard of problems of ordering it through the mail, too. Like they keep charging your card and stuff and sometimes those types of orders are hard to stop. I used to buy mine at a kiosk at the mall. With all that said, I still love the refining mask because the sulfur helps blemishes in a short amount of time.

Like any product, it does not work for everybody. However, I have been using proactiv for about seven years and it has worked like a charm from the very beginning. It cures pimples super fast and prevents acne in general. I only get a single pimple once a month when its "that" time. =)
