I think tattoos hurt depending on the location. My chest piece didn't hurt a bit. But some areas on my 1/2 sleeve hurt, like near the arm pit & elbow, I must say really hurt. And my tattoo on my calf hurt as well, I was having muscle spasms! It also depends on the tattoo you're getting and the detail it entails, some call for more needles than others. Color tattoos take longer than B&G usually. It also helps if your artist is NOT heavy handed!

I agree with the heavy handed comment @trish! I was in a spat with one of my guys and he wasn't too gentle. Although even if they are I enjoy it, as do must of us 😎
