I know a lot of people say the smashbox one is amazing, and I did like it, but I find the nyc primer outshines the smashbox one both in performance and price. :)

You'll hate your primer if the base ingredient doesn't match your foundation.

Whatever you get, make sure you aren't putting a silicone primer underneath a water based foundation.

That is usually the issue. They won't mix and the finish will be off. It might also roll or rub off.

Usually staying within the same brand will ensure everything works correctly. Or if you aren't worried about waterproofing your foundation just make sure whatever primer you have is water based. That usually helps.

What about the Monistat Soothing care powder gel. A lot of people swear by it but I'm kinda iffy..
