I think it'd look awesome!
However, the maintenance for red hair is insane!! My friend who has natural blonde hair dyed her hair that color, and roots will show prominently with in a few days of dying the roots. So if you're willing to spend that money and time maintaining, or don't mind the roots, then go for it!
I think it would look beautiful,and would be worth it for you, but I thought I should bring that to you're attention :)
