Red and green are complimentary colours. That being said, take care to make sure the tone of the red lipstick matches the tone of the green in your hair. You could pair up the two colours all you like but if you have a warm red and cold green it's going to look awful. (This also works for pinks as well since it's just technically lighter red. Maybe if it's off putting, opt for a sheer formula.)
