I'm planning to get a dark spot corrector/serum today while I'm out and as I have never used one before I was wondering if anyone had any tips on where it should go in my skincare routine.
Currently my routine is this:
1. Cleanse morning and night. At night I use my Clarisonic. Very rarely do I use it twice a day.
2. Toner as needed - which is not too often as my skin is usually very clean after using the Clarisonic.
3. Moisturizer
4. Spot treatment where it's needed
Where in this current routine would a serum that fades dark spots go to make it work as effectively as possible? (Sorry if this is wordy/lengthy. I tend to ramble lol)

Honestly depends on the main ingredients in the serum on whether or not it should be applied twice a day. But serums are supposed to be applied before the moisturizer. And a dark spot correcting serum usually requires that you are using a daily spf as well.

Any treatment you put on your skin should go before the moisturizer.

Okay, thanks for the advice :) I always read the directions so I'll check and see what they say. My dark spots are not too, too bad so I could probably get away with using it only once a day.
