I have thick body hair. I go in for regular waxing as shaving or creams had an adverse effect on them. To my dismay, I have to rush to the parlor every fortnight. Has any body gone for laser hair removal. How long does the effect last. I have also seen they shave your hair off before the treatment. Wouldn't it make it more worse. Help!! :((

A friend of mine used a Groupon to get a better deal on laser hair removal. It can get quite pricey. The thicker or more coarse your hair is, the more you have to go. You also have to let the hair grow during treatments. It worked for her and she's so glad she did it, but it can get costly.

I've done laser hair removal on my bikini area and love it. I have course hair in that area and was having horrible ingrown hairs and itching no matter what I did. You are supposed to shave only between appointments.
