Help with dress necklines.

My husband and I have two weddings to attend later this year and I need to find a dress to wear, but I almost never wear dresses so I don't know what neckline would look good with my body shape. I know that a low-cut neckline won't work for me because I'm petite and slender through the chest, and I'd prefer something classier, if you know what I mean! Any suggestions?
