Does anybody know of any good products to keep red hair from fading as bad/fast?!

I can't recommend any products because my hair hasn't been red for ages now and I'm sure things have changed product-wise since then lol. But any type of color protection shampoo and conditioner would help. Use cooler water in the shower because heat will fade it faster. You can also add a bit of red hair color to your conditioner so that each time you condition you'll deposit some color instead of washing it out.

Pureology's Reviving Red line is amaaaazing! It had been a couple months after dying my hair, and the roots were starting to show when I first used it. After using it just once, my red was brighter, and my roots were WAY less noticeable somehow. Although it didn't change the color or anything, it just kind of freshened it up. It's a great line for redheads, whether it's dyed or not!
I'm kind of in love with their other products as well. Their new volumizer is super great!
Plus, everything is sulfate free, and it's all specifically for color treated hair!

Don't wash your hair too often. Get a good dry shampoo. It makes your hair seem like its freshly washed ans smells amaxing. washing hair too often fades color and dries out your hair.

@hazel what's a good brand of semi permanent dye and I only condition my tips since my hair gets so oily, could I add it to the shampoo?
