Has anyone used retinol treatments?

I'm wondering if anyone here has used retinol and what their experiences have been with it. I have issues with the skin under my eyes - it's loose/thin, fine lines, bumpy "chicken skin" texture. It's all pretty noticeable. I've heard that retinol is good for anti-aging and improving skin texture, but I'd like to know if it worked for you, what brands/products you used, if it was too drying, etc. Or, if anyone has suggestions for other treatments that would help me. Thanks!

Hi Kelly. I tried retinol in the past. After 2 days my face was beet red and felt like it was on fire. I have really sensitive skin so it was a no go for me. I sent it back as it was one of those Gunther-Reddy (sp?) products off the T.V. Dr. Quinn medicine woman was the host of the infomercial...
