My mom won't let me get highlights. Is there any other way that I could lighten my hair at home? I have dark brown hair.

You should use Sun-In in the summer! You spray it on your hair and the sun does the rest! Spray it on when you go out of the ocean at the beach or after you take a shower! It really works! Here's a pic of the bottle! I got mine at CVS pharmacy

I'm not really sure! It depends if there's going to be a lot of sun and how much you are going to stay out!

You can use a blow dryer after spraying sun in on your hair so you don't have to be out in the sun.
