I'm having trouble applying my new cream blush. I've always used powder before. the cream always seems to be on the wrong location on my face if that makes sense. I try applying to the apples and then blending out, but it ends up too close to my nose or eyes has too harsh of lines. I'm not sure if that makes sense but does anyone have tips on how to apply cream blush.

I apply it with fingers in the cheekbones, but just a little bit..I leave just the marks of my fingers line in a line..then I blend it with a clean finger.

Try just a tiny bit of product on the pads of your fingers & start about 2 fingers or 3 fingers distance from your nose when you apply.. Then to blend just stipple all in the area you want the blush.. It will spread a tad bit.
If it gets somewhere too far out you can try dabbing some foundation in that area or concealer to change the color or just wiping that area with tissue & some lotion & then reapplying foundation in that area. Then stipple again so you don't have harsh lines. Hope it helps.. Its a bit hard to explain in writing lol

The two finger space from side of your nose, it helps guide where to start.

I was facing the exact same issue. this is how I mastered it. I am using nyxs rouge cream blushes they are super easy to apply. then got myself a primer , real techniques stippling brush and stood in front of my well lit mirror. applied a small amount of primer directly on to my cheeks I.e. above the bone ( luckily I'm blessed with clear skin so I don't use foundation until I am going to a party or something formal) anyway so as soon as I applied the primer, with a gentle hand I took my stippling brush and pressed it slightly onto the product and placed the brush on the damp cheek area ( the primer should not dry out as that's going to help you spread n smoothen the blush). don't apply the blush on to the apples instead on the outer sides of the apples and slowly stippling towards your Apples and also out to the temples. maintain a gentle hand. and continue to stipple until you are satisfied, pick a lil more product if needed to match both cheeks. :) whew hope it helps I'm a pro now
