I don't think they're too short, but youre also holding your phone to look at a downwards angle at them, so the angle of the picture can make them look longer. Parents normally have this thing about their daugters not wearing short shorts. My thing is, as long as you don't look trashy by your pockets hanging out the front, only a little bit of butt is showing (everyone has a little angled part of the but that probably shows, but because its not the fuller part, they don't mind it), and as long as they're not cut straight where the, uhm.. hoochie? part is, I think they are fine.
