I had a bare minerals make over the other day. I do have acne and it didn't cover the spots as much as I liked but if you don't suffer with spots it's great!

Bare minerals is good if you're not super dry or have aging skin... It can cake up and look patchy if you are. Kerry Ann, the key with bare minerals is the brush... The concealer brush will cover spots or scars like magic. I have tried sheer cover and the sephora brand of mineral makeup and didn't like either brand as much as Bare minerals. I want to say a company called everyday minerals is generous with samples and has way more color choices than anyone else, but I have not purchased from them myself. Good luck, ladies!!

I've never been able to use Bare Minerals: their lightest shade is waaaaay too dark. It looked like dirt all over my face! If you like loose mineral powder makeup and are that fair (refer to my picture for an idea), I recommend Aromaleigh mineral cosmetics (online). She has an excellent, very wide selection for us pale gals. For pressed powder I use MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Light, but mostly only on "good" skin days.
