I cutted my hair on layers but it kept the lenght. Since than I have been cutting my hair every month but only little bit. My hair started growing since than. I think it helps her grow more and more. Should I do that again or should I leave it now for some time? Some of my friends tell me that I'm crazy because in that way it will never grow (if I cut it every month) and some of them tell me that is great way of growing it. What do you suggest? :/

Just have it cut when it needs cutting. like when you see split ends and prevent them if you can. Try not to straighten it:) it's long now, you must be doing something right:) your hair is supposed to grow like 0.5 inches a month so if you get that cut every month then its going to stay the same length. but if your cutting tiny bits off that's okay:)

Yeah hair grows a half inch a month.. so if you cut that half inch off, youre not doing much good so your hair must grow a lil more than that. It varies person to person. As skank nasty as this sounds, I only wash my hair 2 times a week at the most, never dry, and only straighten when I go out. My hair has grown 4" in just a few months. I only trim every 2 months because I really don't have many split ends.
